School of Personalised Learning (16–25)
St Vincent Sixth Form College is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of SEN to join our School of Personalised Learning.
This specialist provision supports over 200 young people aged 16–25 with moderate to severe and complex learning difficulties and disabilities, including physical and medical needs, communication and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH).
The successful candidate will bring energy, creativity and resilience, alongside a great sense of humour and the ability to think on their feet in a fast-paced and highly rewarding environment.
The ideal candidate will:
Be committed to high expectations, inspiring students to achieve academically, socially and personally
Have a strong understanding of EHCPs and associated statutory processes
Have experience planning and delivering learning for students with complex SEND and/or SEMH needs
Support students in developing self-advocacy, independence and confidence
The successful candidate will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
