Richard Taunton Sixth Form College are delighted to offer an opportunity for a Teacher of Horizon (Alternative Provision) to join our new and developing post-16 provision.
This is a part-time permanent contract for 13.5 hours teaching hours due to start September 2026.
Salary: Sixth Form Teacher Pay Scale - Spine Point 1-9 - £33,465-£51,714 FTE (dependent on experience)
This role supports students with SEMH needs, focusing on re-engagement, integration into post-16 education and positive progression.
You will:
- Design and deliver a highly personalised and engaging curriculum
- Support students to build confidence, resilience and independence
- Work collaboratively with pastoral and SEND teams
The successful candidate will be calm, nurturing, resilient and highly committed to student success.
An Enhanced DBS check will be required.
