Deputy Principal

Curriculum, Quality and Innovation

St Vincent Sixth Form College

Starting salary - Leadership scale 14 (£78,982 FTE)

Full-time from September 2025 or sooner where possible

St Vincent Sixth Form College is seeking an inspirational and highly effective leader to enhance, develop and improve our curriculum offer. As a Trust we are halfway through our five-year strategy timeline, and with excellent progress being made, our objective to deliver high quality education services to the local community remains a key focus for us.

At the heart of our aspirations to grow and develop our 16-19 provision is an ambitious curriculum plan focused on the development of an inclusive curriculum offer that meets the broad educational needs of our community.

The role of Deputy Principal is essential to enable St Vincent to implement our strategic and curriculum plans whilst providing quality assurance and scrutiny of a diverse and high performing curriculum, which includes full-time provision from Level 3 to Entry Level. We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our curriculum teams and provide highly effective management of staffing, resources and education services for our student body.

Our staff are critical to the success of our colleges, and as we do for our students, we want to ensure this role will have the freedom to shape and develop provision in accordance with local labour market need and curriculum opportunities. This role requires someone with a positive and forward-looking ethos, who understands the importance of a growth culture and professional standards, whilst always promoting Trust values.

The Deputy Principal will join our senior team and will work collaboratively with colleagues to lead and develop a high-quality and agile curriculum that meets local need. The successful appointee will share our desire to be an outstanding college and will be active in college life. Further information about our curriculum and support services is available via our St Vincent Sixth Form College website.
