Starting salary - Leadership scale 26 (£63,660) to 29 (£66,900)
Full-time from September 2025 or sooner where possible
The Lighthouse Learning Trust, encompassing St Vincent Sixth Form College in Gosport and Richard Taunton Sixth Form College in Southampton, is experiencing a remarkable surge in student enrolments. To meet this growing demand and elevate our support services, we are thrilled to announce a brand-new role: Assistant Principal Student Services.
This pivotal position will empower our colleges to deliver top-tier, bespoke support to each learner, helping them thrive and overcome educational challenges. The Assistant Principal Student Services will spearhead a dynamic team of multidisciplinary professionals, ensuring the highest standards across:
• Safeguarding
• Welfare
• Pastoral Care and Tutoring
• Counselling
• Student Voice
• Student Finance
We are in search of an exceptional leader with a visionary mindset to guide these teams, manage resources, and enhance education services for our students. Our staff are the backbone of our colleges, and we aim to provide the freedom for this role to shape and advance Student Services to align with student needs and opportunities. The ideal candidate will uphold a positive, forward-thinking ethos and champion our Trust values while fostering a culture of growth and professional excellence.
As a member of our senior team, the Assistant Principal Student Services will collaborate with other colleagues to establish a high-quality, responsive support service that caters to the diverse needs of our student communities.
